Ekadashi, the sacred day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is observed with deep devotion at Shree Navdurga Mandir. Celebrated twice every month (on the 11th day of both waxing and waning lunar phases), Ekadashi holds great spiritual significance.

Key Rituals and Activities:

  • Early morning pooja of Shree Vitthal-Rukmini and Lord Vishnu
  • Havan, Bhajans & Satsangs in the evening with community participation
  • Special Aarti and Vishnu Sahasranama Path
  • Fasting (Upvas) observed by devotees
  • Chhappan Bhog (56 Bhog) offered as supreme devotion
  • MahaPrasad served on the next day after morning rituals

Ekadashi celebrations also include Devshayani Ekadashi (Aashadhi) and Devuthani Ekadashi (Kartik), marking significant events in the Vaishnav tradition.

The Chhappan Bhog is a grand offering of 56 varieties of sweets, savories, fruits, and traditional delicacies prepared with love and devotion. It symbolizes abundance, gratitude, and unwavering devotion to the Lord.

This elaborate bhog is placed before the deities тАФ particularly Shree Vitthal-Rukmini and Shree Navdurga тАФ and later distributed as MahaPrasad to all devotees.

Devotees are welcome to participate in preparing or sponsoring Bhog offerings.
